At nuvo, our mission is to provide secure and scalable data onboarding solutions that help companies turn every piece of data into value.

Founding

The foundation of nuvo was laid when our founders, Ben and Michael, established their first venture, ComDocks. This marketplace connected buyers and suppliers in the FMCG industry, accelerating sourcing for buyers like REWE and Edeka. Suppliers had the opportunity to place their products on the shelves of numerous retailers' stores.

After scaling the marketplace to approximately 400 suppliers and fueled by the need for further digitization during the COVID-19 pandemic, the market opportunity seemed not big enough. A partnership with leading players in the fast-growing "quick commerce" industry, such as Gorillas and Flink, exposed our founders to the enormous challenge of data onboarding.

Pivoting to nuvo

Challenging the status quo of how organizations around the world handle customer data, nuvo was born. nuvo is a suite of solutions addressing the challenge of processing messy customer data and converting it into the desired format quickly. We gained traction swiftly and secured a €3 million seed round in December 2023 from leading venture capital firms such as General Catalyst / La Famiglia, Foodlabs, HEARTFELT_, and business angels to create the best possible data onboarding experience.

Bound for growth

Today, we have a team of 25+ driven and motivated nuvoneers based in Hamburg, Berlin, Chiang Mai, and remotely across Germany. We serve over 100 clients, ranging from small startups to established enterprise players, with our suite of advanced data onboarding solutions.
